Thanks for your interest in our kids music therapy group.

The group meets weekly during the school term with breaks over the school holidays. The sessions are held at TLC Music Therapy from 11am – 11.45am on Mondays. TLC Music Therapy is located at 158 Colby Drive, Belgrave South. 

The group is facilitated by Jacinta Calabro, a registered music therapist who has extensive experience in early childhood music therapy

Who is the group for?

Children aged 1-4yo with either a medical condition which precludes many types of early childhood social/developmental experiences, or kids who need a bit of extra support with their social or pre-academic skills.

  • Ability to accommodate differing physical and intellectual abilities while still providing a fun, engaging and connecting experience.

We’ll be addressing a whole range of goal areas including:

Details

In the group we’ll be rehearsing these skills through live singing, instrument playing, action songs, games, dancing, sensory props, stories, and puppets.

Parents are required to attend the group with your child. Parents will be modelling active participation, safety, and fun for the children. The cost of the groups is our hourly rate of $193.99ph divided between the group participants. There will also be a small fee for documentation & planning.

At the start of each term the fee will be set depending on the number of enrolments. Participants will need to commit to the group for a term at a time and fees will be charged at the end of the term. Please note that absences won’t be refunded.
